Horizons 4U - Tuition Reimbursement
The HORIZONS 4U Tuition Reimbursement Program application window will be closing for this school year on January 30, 2026.
Any applications currently in the system or those submitted prior to the end date will be reviewed and emails will be sent to those applicants with a status of their application.
The HORIZONS 4U Tuition Reimbursement Program will not accept any new applications for this current school year after January 30th.
Horizons 4U is a tuition reimbursement program developed to encourage current U-46 employees to advance their education to better serve the U-46 community. Tuition reimbursement is available for current employees to pursue paths such as:

Teaching Degree
Work as a Paraeducator while you complete your teaching degree to teach within any of our PreK-12 classrooms. This program can also be utilized to pursue a paraeducator license.

Trades Certificate
Work towards becoming certified within areas such as HVAC, welding, and more!

Job Enhancement
Pursue courses or certificates to enhance your job-related skills for potential advancement within the school district.
The Horizons 4U Tuition Reimbursement Program is also available for areas such as: Paraeducator Licensure (ELS-PARA), additional endorsements on your Professional Educator License (PEL).
